An astute observation on people's behavior. Incisive and insightful write. I think the bottom line of this dog-eat -dog competitive world of today is greediness. Man has reached the heights of grabbing everything as fast as he can..Accumulation of wealth is the main agenda.
This poem says much about the power of slow progress as you have rightly stated that river water in course of time cuts thru a huge chunk of stone on its way into sandy grains. I found your wise use of idiomatic words.. dog-eat-dog, and rat-race. Thank you dear Pathak sir.10
