Mahican Exits From The World Poem by Lauren Coles

Mahican Exits From The World

Life has shattered so much that people don't know how to put up the pieces,
Kids are pulled into a million of situations,
Some situations are over their heads and they don't need to know about,
People might pretend to be sick to dodge a problem at school,
The anger roars through you like a bear,
The walls are caving in,
The wind is trying to blow you away from reality,
Nothing seems to matter anymore,
People might not have families to talk to,
Teachers are paid for their work inside the classroom but they can listen and help outside the classroom,
Parents make their decisions to cut their children out of the picture as they are not important,
No one wants to see your name in the paper among the people who have perished from the world,
You have so much left to do and learn about yourself,
And if you leave the world without leaving something behind it'll be like you never existed at all,
Your family will heal but the pain will never completely disappear.
