Make You Feel Poem by Josh Burnett

Make You Feel

You move me in a way that I can never know,
And I couldn't believe the changes that forego.
I picked myself up from the ultimate all time low,
And there were many things that you had to show.
I always hated the one word I never understood,
And always felt like I was born to lose.
I didn't even have the courage to choose,
But you came along and cut the chains loose.

I never wanted to take the blame.
As I dwelled in the never ending shame,
But I'm so glad that you came,
And cleared my conscious of the pain.
I will never again be the same.
I'm so glad for the change,
And I'm glad for what we've made.

I want to make you feel sexy.
I just want you to tell me you love me.
I'll give you everything.
Then you can tell me,
If you are loved the right way.
I just want to make you sing.
Girl you make my ears ring,
With all the sweet things you say.

For the longest time my tears bleeded from my eyes,
And the pain killed deep within every time.
The love always felt like it was on the verge of the die.
My chest breathed in and heaved out great sighs.
It felt like my mind was always telling me lies.
I never thought I would ever fly,
And it always seemed like goodbye.
I'm still here not going to cry,
Because I can't believe what we have.

Let's hold each other in our arms.
Through the dead of night so dark.
Let's try not to break the hearts,
That could seperate us so far.
Please stop before the pain starts.

I want to make you feel sexy.
I just want you to tell me you love me.
I'll give you everything.
Then you can tell me,
If you are loved the right way.
I just want to make you sing.
Girl you make my ears ring,
With all the sweet things you say.
