Malala The Winner Poem by Ima Ryma

Malala The Winner

Malala wins the Nobel Prize
For peace, the youngest to so win.
A teenage girl whose fight gives rise
To hope that new peace can begin,
In a world torn by war of old,
That's plagued the all of humankind.
Courage needed to be so bold
Comes from the body, soul and mind
Of a child born in fear and hate,
That tried but could not silence her.
She took control of her own fate,
And showed her hope for change for sure.

If peace begins and war does end,
Upon the children will depend.
