Many Thousands Miles Of Separation
We are just across
In the same house-
The wall which existed much before,
But you have really measured
Many thousands miles of our separation.
How the time changed so fast
Since when -
We thought our paths were converging
From a time when we'd met.
A mere sight of discomfort
Often I would love to feign though-
Drew so much of your attention.
We both thought
There could never be a time
We hardly could thrive alone!
A time of total darkness
We saw clouding
Even such a feeble thought!
Yet today I lie here-
Not being able to scare a fly
Ruling me all over-
I don't feel any hurt.
You are busy
Planning for a time beyond this-
As few more events are mere formalities
Soon to get over.
I don't exist,
You have to erase some memory.
Life is to be lived.
It was another period of your life
You have to forget
And you got to march ahead of it.

Although we are in same house there is wall of separation. This separation gives us feeling of remaining so far across the thousands of miles. We observe that time changes very fast. We are busy but we are attentive to draw love to measure the depth of house. Light of love expels the darkness and sparks with tenderness to reduce the separation. When there is love we do not feel hurt. An interesting poem is very well penned is an excellent poem definitely.....10
