Marge Heeley Poem by Francis Duggan

Marge Heeley

Marge Heeley in spirits she never seems down
She is one of the happiest people in the town
With her husband Alex and their six year old twin daughters Lily and Jill
I often does see them walking up the Town Hill
In her early thirties with shoulder length wavy hair of brown
One of the most attractive women in the town
But she seems untainted by guile or conceit
As nice a person as one could wish to meet
For sadness in her mind there is not any space
She always does have a big smile on her face
A good mum to her children and to Alex a good wife
Marge Heeley is one who loves people and life
Wherever her sort is joy is to be found
She carries it with her and shares it around.
