Mary, In Maidenly Shame Enshrined Poem by james watkin

Mary, In Maidenly Shame Enshrined

Mary, in maidenly shame enshrined.
Full, in singular raptness of pose
By day-breaking's light, Heaven-outlined
Lily's purity, Devotion's rose.

Mary, in cross's shadow heart-flopped.
In sanctifying, as far Time hoes
New lands that for miracles are cropped
Lily's purity, Devotion's rose.
