Masks Of Life ~ 01/15/1999

Prejudice takes a large role in life.
Ignorance is known in many people.
Just because the style of clothes,
the color of hair, the color of skin.
People think they have the right tu judge.
But, whao are we to judge in this world?
Why do we look down on one another?
Is it out of jealousy or fear?
Until we speak free and speak out,
we will never hear innocent words.
We will become unknown and unheard,
and the unprejudice never acknowleged.
If like our heirs we teach our children hate,
we use the slang hurtful words,
Then what have we learned?
What have we accomplished?
Are we just ignorant like some of the heirs before us?
How much are we really different?
Look pass the appearances.
We are all human, we are all of the earth.
Until we can look into the soul
and leave the superficial things aside.
We will never find truth
in others or ourselves.
