The art of letting go is not really hard to master. A person with enough patience to face the task of living each day of life, dedication to fulfill the journey and with unconditional love to give are aids to leaving behind what is past. What is hard to do is FORGETTING... regardless of degree of pains a person experience, the mind always and will always remind us of the things that happened; but it will come up a solution to enable us to move on and to encourage us not to repeat the same mistake we made. Forgiveness is easy to give specially if we are blessed with abundant faith.
Letting go can be a difficult achievement. It is not always easy to let go of the past, the pain, the hurt, the humiliation endured but forgiveness is the key to letting go, when it is done with love. Patiently this can be achieved, in the process setting us free from our past, from it's negativity, so we can move into the present moment and live there at peace with ourselves and the world around us. Then, we can leave the past where it belongs - in the past, close the door on it forever and open a new door which takes us into the present, where we can begin to live and love again. Our whole reality is changed by this process and our patience is truly rewarded. Another wonderful insightful write, which I thank you for sharing dear Tony...
