O each structured line is dipped in moonlight!
The poet's dreams are embedded in each
Syllable until the words come alive.
It seems that they stretch far beyond their reach.
Black marks now punctuate the pure white page.
The artist's palette abounds with colours:
Vivid, rich and strange; soon to be sea-changed
In bold ways that complement each other.
O each brushstroke seems to sing with meaning!
Each fragment forms part of a shining whole.
O what beauty poets and artists bring
To a modern world that's lost touch with its soul!
They create communions of spirit
And flesh that we should always revisit.
