May Remain So Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

May Remain So

Rating: 2.8

You too are the same
As I rightly intended to claim
Let there be no to blame
You are the only one friend to me by name

I wondered
And thundered
Along with lightening
But effect was softening

You stood by
Not as passers by
But true ally and friend
Till the end

You were not selfish
Like fish
Remained in water
But thrust remained for ever

I am lucky
And thank almighty
That you were gifted
Otherwise I had not opted

You have woven thread
As if to infuse liveliness in dead
It is real induction of energy
To make me always happy

I am and may remain so
Indebted to you and never blow
With the wind in adverse situation
That is real essence of relation
