May This Year To You

May this year to you be a new beginning
May you find true joy in God
Don't leave Him on the sidelines
But may He come to be understood
As the person of Jesus Christ
The world's greatest personality
Who loved His enemies as He did
And who forgave from Calvary

He didn't show off His miracles
But did them in a loving fashion
To show to the world a wonderful Saviour
Who loved them with great compassion
He knew the perils of sin's consequences
He knew of it endings and dearth
And sought to point men to the Light of the world
To His distribution centre of mirth

Amen to know such a Saviour
Who gives us His grace to believe
When we desire to turn from our sin
And the Lord Jesus Christ receive
There's a bit of Heaven to experience
While you're living here on planet earth
Come to know Him yourself...the very God of Heaven
When you come to have a new birth...

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
