May You Live Again Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

May You Live Again

Rating: 5.0

Memories appear in my restless mind,
Engulfing my thoughts,
Like waves crashing onto a deserted beach,
Those days are now,
Left far behind,
But here in my heart,
You are so within my reach,
Tears begin to fall,
Like droplets of rain,
Realising that i,
Will never see you again,
In a heartbeat,
In a moment,
You were taken away,
To the gardens of heaven,
To live another day.
Smile again,
And hold out your hand,
For you will be cherished,
In god's pleasant land.
