Maybe Poem by Kong Yin

Maybe

Rating: 5.0

Stars glimmering in a stream,
moon flickering on a far mountain,
bamboo leaves rustling,
dogs barking,
withered vines reaching out,
endlessly, a road stretching.

On a blue path of flagstone,
petals chasing a puff of breeze,
she all in grey, holding her alms,
knocks on doors, begging in shadows.

That person might be me.
There I may have been.

Kong Yin, A dream of images full of meaning. The small things can mean so much. Dogs barking gave it a feeling activity and somehow a moving feeling in the air. The path of flagstone depicted that a person's soul or heart was searching - she, all in grey.................maybe seeking meaning.................great ending begging in shadows......I enjoyed Maybe very much. May I ask how this poem came to be? Blessings to you in your life and writing.....................Kathy

Stars are glimmering in a stream wonderfully with expressive emotion and moon is flickering on a far mountain. What an interesting imagery is drawn here in this marvelous poem really. Nicely penned.....10
