Maybe Poem by Thomas Plotz

Maybe

Oodles of birthdays in December
From lovers' to mothers', and lovers' of previous people, once more

Maybe we will last
Maybe we will last, at last
Maybe we will? Be,
For I love you still

I recognize my love goes with you
Even when I've, faded from blue

To become unbiased alternative color, on the street
Smeared into the tapestry, of - life

Some days I wake, and know I'M part of a greater family
Then,
I,
Smile
