It's Been So Long
OMG
It's been so long
Since I've written anything at all,
Green grass has grown tall
My computer word program has sat at a loll,
Just waiting, for me to write…
My usual readers I'm sure are appalled
With the lack of action,
Gravitational dissatisfaction
Of past writing, usually speedy and forthwith
I have felt like - Eh…
With a springtime flu
Watching rain come down,
As I sit, with a bowl hot soup,
Just hoping,
Eager, to write anything at all…
