Maybe she’ll say yes
Maybe she cares too
Maybe she’s as shy as me
Maybe this is true

Maybe I should ask her
Maybe we should talk
Maybe we should spend some time
Maybe we should walk

But maybe she has another love
Maybe he treats her right
Maybe he’s a charming man
Maybe they don’t fight

Maybe I should stay away
Maybe I should go
Maybe I should seal my lips
Maybe she can’t know

Or maybe he’s an evil man
Maybe he treats her wrong
Maybe she fears him all day
Maybe her nights are long

But maybe I'm the one she loves
and maybe she wants me here
Maybe I should find this out
At last, my thoughts are clear
