Every time I see my father
receptive to the faucets of life
nurturing his family with care
even today he is much older
shares his care for my mum
to show his ever undying love
only to make her happy.

Can't deviate being like my father
at knowing that I do the same stint
bringing joy to cheer many hearts
retiring not till the end of lifetime
extending my love to everyone
responding to the call for care
according to what I can do best.

Being the copycat of my father
reiterating the image of him
and do the things he does
to my dearest wife and mum
over the years I will be proud.
