Me, Life, And You - Poem by Marthe Claude

Through the rain
I saw your face

Clear as crystal
I saw my fate

In your arms
under the october sun
you smiled at me
a smile so warm

Through the days
long and slow
you stand beside me
and promise never to leave

As time goes by
benign yet obscured
you hold my hand
and say you love me
