Mea Culpa Poem by Kasia Fedyk

Mea Culpa

Rating: 2.0

Sweep me in one wave
encircle my flaws
in one embrace
like a dolphin
in enigmatic ways
submerged to feel the air
one breath as one wave
in holistic symbols
ahh
unleashing the freedom
of motionless emotions
free to rise above
without fear
why is body so restless
with freedom to move
and the mind so captivated
by confinements only choice
live in the decision
that dwells
on one strike of a wave
freedom to dance
in the opened air
ahh
breath of allure
in enigmatic structure
flowing in the waves
of reception
movements of free hands
to evolve
free will of mind to expand
fleeting into the unknown

Before today, I have not heard the phrase mea culpa. Having Wikipedia'd it, I see the poem is almost one of regret. To have so much beneath, to give, and to expose. Very nice!

Freedom in love personified, bursting forth the unbound mind, ahh heaven! Teach my mind to be free!
