Meadow Poem by nimal dunuhinga

Meadow

Rating: 5.0

We are not harmful to any creature
then why they hurt us?
instead of rain
they pour us bombs
from the helpless sky.
Do not forget my friends
under the grass,
Alexander the Great,
Adolf Hitler, Napoleon Bonapart
and so many heroes are quiet
and they are in a deep sleep.

Very profound thinking. Green meadows have many stories to tell. King David wrote centuries ago, 'How are the mighty fallen and the weapons of war perished! ' Regards, Sandra
