Meaningless Rainbow Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

Meaningless Rainbow

'Never, and never again shall it rain to kill' - you said
From the dump, I'm trying to build my ark
Yet, this rain floods away all my sweat
O, meaningless rainbow,
Should I take you serious when you appear?

Children sing for you, beautiful songs
Yet, we never seen the wonders beyond your beautiful
O, meaningless rainbow,
Should we take you serious when you appear?
