Melodious Voice Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Many people had assembled in the big auditorium with great elan
To listen to the songs of the great singer,
The elite singer began to sing wonderful songs one by one
And the people listened to those with close attention.
The melodious voice of the reputed singer created a divine atmosphere,
The audiences were completely enamoured,
Silence reigned everywhere in the big hall,
Finally the programme ended
And the fabulous singer slowly left the place.
But the people were still there,
The owner of the auditorium came and told them to leave the hall,
But the audiences refused him saying,
"We are still listening to the pleasantest songs,
Don't disturb us."
