Melting The Ice Crystals Of Life Poem by Ayni Poet

Melting The Ice Crystals Of Life

Rating: 5.0

Clear luminescence gleams by day,
Radiating in the night as well,
But the umbras of the mind
Darken those which cling to them.

Frozen, foggy and scratched
The mirror of perception cries with every rub,
A liftetime of stories held together
By sole ice.

How will one awaken from Samsara?
If there's no melting of delusion,
A breakdown of attachments and greed,
Ice remains unconcious, cold.

All beings are by nature Buddha,
Like water is the base of ice,
Who here is willing
To warm up and liquify?
