as we stray apart,
memories keep us close,
we talk once a month,
but when we do,
it feels like everyday,
you have this calm about you,
that make me myself,
everytime i talk to you,

best friends for love,
lovers family always thought,
what happened between us,
is what holds us apart,
it had nothing to do with you,
i stopped trusting,
the day somebody took away,
my innocents and trust,
though it been years,
i just found out,
sharing the reason why,
will make me feel closer to you,
you married and have your life,
i want what best for you,
and if it means,
holding in how i feel,
to keep you happy and married,
that what i will do.
