Memory Poem by Daniel Bernard Kelleher

Memory

You long to hear her voice
Just for a little while
You long to see her around
Just to see her smile

You long to hug her
As you did not long ago
You long to kiss her
As in the days of yore

Alas she is but a memory
You hold close to your heart
Although she may be gone
Let memories linger on
