'Memory Bank' Poem by Linda Winchell

'Memory Bank'

God deposits thoughts in your head
You can take that to the bank!
He deposits all the good thoughts you think
And places the rest… in your memory bank.

So if you need a great idea
To place maybe in to a prayer
Just withdraw a thought God placed inside
There is always something deposited there.

No overdraft charges… ever!
If you overdraw what’s been put in.
Because God’s left His protection
To ward off any left bits of sin.
