Memory Haiku Poem by Dónall Dempsey

Memory Haiku

Rating: 2.4

memory stealing
the sky, the sun, the us
of that evening

where the sky, the us
should be...just nothing
but a large hole cut out of reality

the Present
stealing a part of the Past
hiding it away in the Future

memory
paying no attention to how things turned out to be
replays this part of the Past

memory knowing
that scene has no future
never lets it end
