Everyone has a memory
Of their first encounter of love
So pure and simple
Yet, everlasting through time

It is of a Mother
So giving and true
Of warmth and protection
Feeling security in her arms

With admiration in our eyes
We look to her at all times
To guide us in this world
Until her job of teaching is done

Never does she regret
Having her children to hold
Because she embraces a decision
To bring us into this world

It's up to her children
To continue to teach our own
About being a parent
To continue her love within us
