A man small in stature
He commanded a room
Humorous and gifted
Truly known by few
He guided a path
For his Son to use
Not without mishaps
More than he knew
Never spoke of his past
Time he spent in war
As he remained haunted
By all that he had done
A gifted pool player
Teaching his Son as well
Most treasured moments
Between a Father and Son
Hard working and devoted
Prideful and strong headed
He left his impression
On a World, now less fortunate
An infectious laughter silenced
His legacy still lives on
Of all he taught and mentored
A mirror image in his Son
