I would love and dream
and believe with blessings from Him
That gentle wind must blow
With message of peace to flow

It is message of peace
With strong resolve to live at ease
Mind at rest with no fear
And no more agony to bear

It is expected
That no nation should be incited
For imposing war
On nation living next doors

There are simple human beings
Living near borders for nothing
Only to carry out and live on trade
To plough the land with spade

It will be great tribute
If we try and contribute
Through little peace initiative
With aim to stabilize relation and survive

People have realized its implication
The cause should be peaceful in relation
No bloodshed should take place
No armed struggle should be made or chased

It may jeopardize entire peace process
People might loose lifeline with no access
They will face human barrier
The war may prove bloodier

Nobody wants war
They want it as far cry
Nothing should disturb their life
The lives on both the sides are torn with strife

Let little spark not engulf entire region
Let propaganda be not taken over by religion
World has survived worst kind of persecution
It is firmly believed and adopted with resolution


What people want across the land?
Good names to be remembered and heard as friends
Familiar names from both sides should fill the air
“Allah-o-Akarbar *and O-Ram*” precisely as fair

Let New Year begin with pigeon show
Let them fly in air and go
Across the border with star and moon
To bring back the message soon

I shall want to call
Selma*, Agha* and above all Rehmaan*
From here they may call Shambu* and Kalu*
ready to go for friendship trip to Honolulu

Let 2014 stay in our memory
As the year not to feel sorry
There are many more loop holes to plug
Let us bring back confidence and trust

This land belongs to us and we should maintain
It is gifted to us as holy land to contain
The wishes for all people to remain united
As our fate is loosely connected

Humanity must survive at any cost
The feeling is essential and sought as most
It is our willingness and shall find light
All lives across the border may find peace and delight

I may wish and dream peaceful end
someone calls me from across the land
“Hasmukh** never feel bad as we are here
Stay wherever you are but happily smile there
