'Men' Poem by Krista Thomas

'Men'

You cant trust a 'man' for all that he's worth,
He'll lie to you, then cheat on you, and you'll be the one hurt,
Cant stand a 'man' that decieves, so lucky thats not me,
Don't wanna have another 'man', that always has to lie,
Don't want that same stupid ol' boy that always made me cry,
Cant stand a 'man' that always wants to fight,
Getting tired of that 'man' that always thinks he's right,
I'm glad I left you and all of your stupid schemes,
You couldn't even love me, you dont know what love means.

¬_¬ big generalization, but I can feel it. Nice poem! but remember, there are a few good men out there, the only ones deserving of the title.

'You don't know what love means' are terrible words to hear but sometimes true. In this case it seems so. We need to learn it and in a hurry.

Bit of a sweeping generalisation in the title, but those last six words are pretty telling. t x
