Menstrual Blood - Poem by Elizabeth Padillo Olesen

Filling, flowing, emptying, birthing
A cycle of seasons
Connected to nature's
Resting, growing and cleansing.

Menstrual blood,
Menstrual cycle,
A woman's life-giving story
In the heart of creation.
