Mental Images Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Mental Images

Rating: 5.0

In the hidden caverns of the mind
Are memories stored and catalogued
Forgotten until something reminds
Sparking emotion; images are recalled

A scent, the sound of laughter
The color of vibrant autumn leaves
Bringing back images long after
Like ransom being returned by thieves
