Mental Peace Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I dreamed whole night to have mental peace
But alas! It dodged me and did not come at ease
So it was feared I may not have it at all
Yet I attempted for it and waited for its descent call

I saw friend named shanti i.e. peace in shadow
It was almost cooling breeze coming through window
I called for her acceptance as friend and admirer
But to my utter surprise she turned out to be teacher

She is at peace with two little children
The luck has played misfortune even
Yet she is stubborn and smiling face
I found her with all possible grace

She has two little kids in form of “Darshan” and “Roshan”
Darshan means audience and Roshan means vision
Person can be termed no less lucky if such things are at door
She can definitely be wealth person and not poor

A person is not by her eloquence alone
It needs philosophical touch and wisdom born
A person never looses race even if confronted
As the desired result is always wanted

Hope it is not misunderstood sometimes
I will give her full marks for bold stand
Normal person gets discouraged and have different trend
Here she is no where near a loosing side
Her perception angle is different and very wide

I would praise her not because she is female
But she has proved more than a male
In normal circumstances person should have ended struggle
But here she stood well on ground well and avoided trouble

I want her all the success in life
Life in short is like cutting edge of knife
I want the flowers to boom in beautiful garden
Without waiting for any season with burden

I would love to be her close mate
To encourage in an attempt to defeat
Yes that is an indication to stand in real
Share it at every level and honestly feel
