A merciful siren she came to be.
This beautiful song that stole my sight.
Just as I fell she set me free.
It left me standing alone somewhere deep in the night.
Severed strings Dangling helpless from me.
The Lonely soul, such a miserable plight
Without doubt she cared so ruthlessly.
All Hope was lost before the flame could ignite
Then Discarded the advantage that hung over me.
She walked away 'kindly' knowing whats right.
Not taking, but giving to me, dont you see.
Before the flood of love in all its sher might.
Graciously and Mercifully...
She dismissed me.
A good start with a nice poem, Oowolf. You may like to read my poem, Love And Lust. Thank you.
All Hope was lost before the flame could ignite love, fire of love, then separation, desire, sense of loss.. all well pictured in your poem. thank you dear poet. tony
Craving for more...want to know the whole story of this Siren. You have shared so much but have left me wanting to know much, much more.
Obviously, disappointment and a broken heart; She sounds a bit cold-you are better without her; Have known people like this in my life. They have been great lessons. Your poetry speaks volumes.
Cold and calculating....perhaps dishonest, there should be no room in anyones life for one such as this. Am surprised she could ever have a serious relationship with anyone. She sounds like a woman i know.
