Merry Christmas Poemhunter!
Every Christmas I write Christmas cards for all those I know,
the neighbor next door—or my uncle Elwyn.
To each of them Christmas card shall go,
before Christmas Day has come to its end.
Poemhunter is a place filled with many skilled poets and bards,
but I cannot go to their houses to visit them,
nor can I send them Christmas cards,
but still a message do I send to all of them,
May all of you have a very Merry Christmas—filled with cheer,
filled with happiness and exceeding gladness.
May none you shed tears,
may there be no sadness.
God bless you all and thank you for the friendship!
