Merry Christmas to every church member
On this wondrous 25th of December,
I wish good will to them one and all
Especially when they go out to deck the hall.
When they woke up this Christmas morning
I hope with peace and love they are adorning,
And if they stand under the mistletoe
I hope joy and smiles they sow.
I hope they have many presents underneath their tree
The unwrapped one of love was sent by me,
And the Christmas music that they are now playing
I hope in joy and happiness they are swaying.
I hope they all have a wonderful Christmas dinner
And I hope they all have forgiven every sinner,
And I wish them one and all joy and peace
As I hope their kindness and happiness does not ever cease.
Once their was a baby lying in a manger
Gifts and joy and praise was given by every stranger,
So, Merry Christmas I once again will happily say
As we all celebrate the Lord's birthday.
