Miles After Miles Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Miles After Miles

Rating: 3.5

That day
When I came here,
You were absent,
Even today
When I am leaving this place,
You are still absent,
So what?
I am not at all upset,
As the great image
Of your beauty and fragrance is
Always with me,
This is enough indeed,
Even in the darkest atmosphere,
When everybody screams
In extreme pain and disappointment,
I can easily smell your sweet fragrance
In my fertile kingdom,
As I close my eyes
And ponder deeply,
I realise your divine beauty and loveliness
Stretches miles after miles
Inside and outside
In a majestic way,
Oh, what a wonderful feeling it is for me!
