meri beti kabhi kisi
makDi ko bhi dukh na degi
jis ne apna jaal
uski bicycle k handle par
2 haftay se daal rakha tha
vo us k jaanay ka intzaar kar rehi thee

agar tum jaala toD do, main ne kaha
to us ko patta chal jaaey ga
k vo yahan apna ghar nahin bana sakti
aur tum bike pe sair karne chali jao gi

us ne kaha logoN ka refugee ban-na
aisay hi hota hai. such hai na?

My daughter
wouldn't hurt a spider
That had nested
Between her bicycle handles
For two weeks
She waited
Until it left of its own accord

If you tear down the web I said
It will simply know
This isn't a place to call home
And you'd get to go biking

She said that's how others
Become refugees isn't it?
