Mind Drinking Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Mind Drinking

Tranquil peace fills my soul as I walk around.
Joy sits within as I sit among the cacti.
Serenity is throughout me as I gently touch
the needles of a cactus.
Sitting down upon a rock, my mind drinks in
what my eyes see.
Beauty everywhere saturates my soul, for it
is truly the beauty of God.
