What is it today,
Being taught with it thought...
Is in need for our children,
To pursue a higher education?
At an exorbitant price.
Remaining out of reach to teach,
Confusion and conflict.

With elected political leaders,
Incompetent and uninformed...
About the needs,
Of their own constituents.

What is the message that this sends,
Witness to observed...
To our children undeserving.
When too obvious it is,
The ones most in need to be educated...
Are the ones sitting,
In positions of leadership.
Affording to win elections.

But not a dime is spent,
Making the attempt to acquire common sense.
And any child today knows,
Or should...
That a mind to use is free of charge.
