Mine Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Mine

Why must mine
Mine so ever sweet
Mine heart that breaks with every sleep
Mine love I hold after love, shall never keep

If only mine was my love beyond every dream
Mine that enchants my heart and conveys with me
When the silence ends then darkness leaves
Alone I am with endless hope
Like a child; A fool believes
