Miracles In Progress Poem by Jasbir Chatterjee

Miracles In Progress

Rating: 5.0

Naughty monsoon
Has arrived in Delhi.
Look how it blows bubbles
Into the huge sky;
Turns them into colossal rain clouds.
And the ever-playful Sun laughs and joins in.
While we watch with wonderstruck eyes,
Together they draw so many funny figures,
With the sky
As their canvas,
Miracles that unfold and disappear in seconds.

Yes, this is enchanting, Bubbles of clouds floating in the sky and playfully creating bizarre images to be erased the next moment, then, again creating another set of fluffy images. This is an ever-changing exhibition on the canvas of sky goes on for those on earth. Thanks.
