Mirror May Speak Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Mirror May Speak

Rating: 5.0

What does next follow?
I do not know
May be worse
Good too of course

I paint no gloomy picture
If I am not sure
If sun can shine daily
I must be prepared really

What ails my thought?
Even though unprepared, I am never caught
I may cut sorry figure
But alter on make it doubly sure

I have decided to go on
So I may struggle and move on
It is daily routine
I must feel contended and fine

I want no sympathy from people
On the contrary, they should support to handle
I must thank their gesture
But never criticize for failure

Mirror may speak anything
Why should I look at even for something?
What has it do with my appearance?
I am what I am and look same with presence
