Mirrored Image Poem by Ronald Strickland

Mirrored Image

Rating: 1.0

The lake water Sparkle from the morning sun,
the flowers are in bloom as Spring has arrived.

A Frog seat's watchingwith curiosity,
with its eyes, never losing sight of the water's surface.

A Robin at the water's edge splashes about to bathe.

The swan's glide across the water with
beauty and grace.

The willow branches sway's as it dances from a warm breeze.

My gaze into the water, reminiscent, a mirrored image
from a time so long ago.

A time when young men became brothers, in a land
without peace, fear was absent.

Are you afraid a bothers would ask.

No, would be the reply. keeping it to ourselves.'Fear only Clouds one's mind'

These brave men without fear.
Who shared their thoughts about their families and home.

So many have gone, but not without leaving glorious,
mirrored images for those who wish to recall.

For so many the time is near, but we'll go without fear.
For those who have gone before us. has the path for
those who follow secured.

We'll shall reach Heaven's gate without fear,

Stand proud my brothers. You have left your marks in life
with those who love you dear.

I know our God, is so honored and proud of you all.

Stand tall, and without fear.
