Misapprehend Poem by jerry hughes

Misapprehend

Miss Apprehend joined the police because;
She liked the uniform, enjoyed the power it
gave her and she exercised it as often as
possible. Until the day she pulled a motorist
over on a minor misdemeanor.

She wasn't to know the driver was a psychopath
who smiled, leaned out of the window and blew her
brains out.

Moral: You can't change the world with a uniform
and a bad attitude.

I really, really like this poem Jerry (as I do all that i have read) . It's a slice of real life, you could read about this as a story on the news or in the paper. A blown up ego for power got her brains blown out. Very real as is your style of writing which I love! Good work! Fondly, Ashley xoxo
