Misfitagendas Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Misfitagendas

Misfit agendas.
Squeezed in but don't belong.
Corrupting a fabric...
Made with srength,
And not to rip.
Still this goes on.
Destroying the value and quality.
Done and known wrong.
Yet given support to strip it to bits.
Piece by piece.

Misfit agendas.
From the top to bottom down.
Below and dumped into the gutters.
Foundations built from the ground.
Today chipped away like plastic.
With many people standing around.
Applauding and giving consent.
To this senseless mindlessness.

What has happened to the people,
Now cheering deceit.
To accept and believe it.
What has happened to their minds,
To be easily this deceived.

How can people believe,
What they hear and not see.
To be sold.
On everything they are told.

How is it people can believe,
What they hear and not to see.
Is it in the image that represents,
More to value than common sense.

Misfit agendas now have prominence.
Here, there and everywhere.
Misfit agendas now have dominance.
Over common sense.

Misfitting agendas.
Are now prominent.
Misfitting agendas.
Are now dominant.
Over common sense.

Dismissed to fit yet accepted,
Are agendas.
More prominent.
And much more dominant.
Than common sense.
Not to miss to know it gone!
