Missing A Moment Poem by Dorsey Baker

Missing A Moment

Rating: 5.0

let go
the tragic arms of your terror
let the beast back up
quietly slip away
grab this rope
it's for the hanging
the voice of nagging pain
behind the proud laughter
a tear is weeping
one that mankind
is forced to let appear
upon it's face
and looking so angelic
a glimpse of heaven
when just a moment
to escape
you miss the chance
being much too afraid
your feet stand still
