Missing Jigsaw Piece Poem by Melissa Patty

Missing Jigsaw Piece

Thousands of tiny pieces set in place
How I miss being able to wake up to your loving embrace
The jigsaw is never going to be complete knowing the piece flew far away
Heaven couldn'tbe more luckier to be with you sharing your important day
Mum you give life to me and that was enough for me to love you with all my heart
You held me close with all your might until we had to be separated apart
You were like no other, all you did was give and never expected anything in return
As there you raised us with every lesson that you had to learn
I couldn't have been blessed more to have a beautiful role model to help me grow
Forever and always mum I will love you more than you will ever will know
Mum all you did for me is fill every need, dried my eyes and made my smile
I hope our goodbye is not forever it's only going to be a wee while
I hope someday we will be reunited as mum and daughter and our hands will touch
Through my life I knowthere's a missing womanin my life who I miss and love so much.
